The wine industry is terribly specialized in terms of accounting and finance, and yet there’s no standard information available to winery finance professionals. Allen Wine Group is proud to offer two new professional certificate courses – winery controller, and winery CFO – both two-day conferences. The purpose of these conferences is to educate and prepare winery finance professionals with the tools they need to succeed in their role. You’ll learn from seven different AWG instructors, all of whom have worked at wineries and succeed in their roles as: DTC manager, controller, CFO and president. We’ll discuss best practices, IT solutions, accounting vs. planning, and all other winery accounting & finance related topics. You’ll learn value-add processes and procedures to immediately benefit your winery employer, and how to make yourself ready for your next promotion.
Who should attend: winery accounting managers looking to be promoted, newly promoted winery controllers, wine CPA firm professionals, wine bankers, wine attorneys. This conference is focused on GAAP accounting and historical transactions: how to account for things that have happened.
